With a loving hint of Overgaden's history as an old printing house, PRESS PRINT presents! a handful of actors from the branch of the Danish art scene that deals with graphics and print media. Through the five projects, the focus is on the intersection between new digital technologies and traditional graphic crafts.

We live in a time where the many new digital possibilities for artistic production and publication have interestingly spurred a new artistic generation to experiment with "slow" and traditional graphic and printed media - gravure, copperplate, woodcut and serigraphy - to combine them with the new digital technologies in surprising ways. This development is the focal point of the exhibition PRESS PRINT !, which also sends a loving thought to Overgaden's history as an old printing house, where everything from the Carlsberg labels to Copenhagen's communist press were produced, and where the traces of this company are still very clear in Overgaden architecture.
